"Our First Priority"
The Westminster Confession states that "The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever". How much more important
is that to the Church of Jesus Christ, called out of every nation to eternal fellowship with Him?
When teaching His disciples how to pray, in Matthew 6:9 through 13, Jesus began the model of prayer with the words "Our
Father in heaven, hallowed by Your Name."
And ended it with "For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen." All our communion with God is to
begin and end in worship and praise.
Let’s get started today making time for our "supreme and only indispensable activity".
